How Much Does It Cost to Dry Clean a Suit in Mooresville, NC?

A straight-answer local price guide — what a suit costs to dry clean in Mooresville, what changes the price, and how to keep the bill down.

How Much Does It Cost to Dry Clean a Suit in Mooresville, NC?

Ask ten Mooresville dry cleaners what a suit costs and you'll get ten different answers, mostly because "a suit" isn't one thing. It's a jacket, a pair of pants, and — depending on the piece — a vest. Every cleaner prices those parts a little differently. This is what a suit actually costs at our shop on E Plaza Drive, and where the number moves.

The short answer

At Mooresville Coin Laundry, a two-piece suit is $30.00 on our published menu and a three-piece is $40.00 — priced as a set, not as separate garments. Same-day service (drop off by 10 AM) adds 50%. Rush service (2–4 hours, on request) adds 100%.

What changes the price

1. Fabric and construction

A basic wool two-piece is priced from the menu. A silk-blend, a linen with fussy pleating, or a heavily lined tuxedo can move a piece up a tier. We flag it at drop-off — no surprises when you pick up.

2. Stains and spot-treat time

The wash cycle costs what it costs. What moves the number is when a garment needs hand pre-treatment — wine on a lapel, oil on a knee. We charge for the wash, not the labor, on almost every piece; a badly damaged garment is the exception and we'll tell you before we work on it.

3. Rush timing

Standard is 48 hours at the menu price. Same-day (in by 10 AM, out by close) adds 50%. Rush (2–4 hours, on request) adds 100%. Nine times out of ten, standard is enough — most people book the rush upgrade the night before a wedding and immediately wish they'd dropped off a day earlier.

How to keep the bill down

  1. Drop off before 10 AM if you might want it same-day — the upgrade is optional, not automatic.
  2. Bring shirts with the suit. Five shirts + suit is a normal weekly drop for a lot of Lowe's-HQ commuters; the shirts are $8.99 each and press better on hangers than at home.
  3. Skip the every-wear clean. A suit doesn't need dry cleaning after each wear — a brush, a steam, and a hang in fresh air will get you three or four wears between cleans on most fabrics.
  4. Use pickup & delivery if you're already booking wash & fold. It's the same suit at the same price; you're not paying delivery on top.

Suit cleaning vs alterations vs restoration

We dry clean and press. We do not alter, hem, or restore. For a tux with a broken zipper or a jacket that needs a lining rebuild, ask us for a local recommendation — we'd rather send you to a tailor who does it right than fake it.

The bottom line

A two-piece suit in Mooresville is $30.00 at our shop for standard 48-hour turnaround, $45.00 same-day. A three-piece is $40.00. Shirts add $8.99 each. These are published prices, not estimates.
